Answer:

The correct answer would be it is derived from natural resources that cannot be depleted.

Renewable energy is the energy obtained from renewable sources such as wind, water, sunlight et cetera.

These sources are believed to be present in such a amount that it can not be depleted due to human consumption.

Renewable energy is considered as clean energy which helps in reducing pollution, attaining sustainability, prevent drastic climate changes, et cetera.

Cycle energy and matter to support the biosphere as a closed energy system

Explanation:

The earth as we know it is a closed energy system that is, matter cannot be introduced or removed from it. Sometimes, rare meterites enter into the system with minimal or no disruption.

Also, energy can enter and leave. The energy mostly referenced here is the sun.

Within the earths system, the lithosphere, hydrosphere, and biosphere materials and energy go through a cycle which helps to support life.

For example, water when heated up by the sun rises as vapour from the earth and oceans into the atmosphere where it cools and condenses. When it cools and condenses, it , in the form of rain, comes down on the earth and oceans. As rain falls down to the earth and runs off the rocks, rocks are broken down into smaller fragments and soils. The hydrosphere comprises of all water bodies on earth. Besides the vapours which are evaporated from the same into the atmosphere, when volcanoes erupt they also send vapourised water into the atmosphere.

So because the earth is a closed system, a change in one sphere effects a change in others. An example is a change in the water cycle.

Calculate the volume change for respiration in the dark. As you already saw from earlier questions, oxygen production is fairly
Tatiana [17]

Answer:

-1.9mL/min

Explanation:

The rate of O₂ production can be calculated by the formula

= ( Final volume - initial volume)/time(min).

From the graph provided and attached below, the rate of O₂ production or rate of photosynthesis at light intensity of 8 is about 3.75 mL/min.

The rate of O₂ production is taken as the rate of photosynthesis. It is expected to progressively increase from light intensity 0 as light intensity increases. However, at very high light intensity, the rate slows down as water becomes limiting and the stomata closes in order to conserve water.

Question in order

Experiment 2: Respiration in the Dark

Calculate the volume change for respiration in the dark. As you already saw from earlier questions,

oxygen production is fairly constant. You will not need to calculate the individual volume changes.

Just subtract the original volume at 00:00:00 from the final reading at 00:02:00. Record your answer

for use in a later question.

Note: depending on when you started the timer there is a range of possible answers. Pick the answer that is closest to this

Which of the following describes asexual reproduction?
Artyom0805 [142]

Answer:binary fission in an amoeba

Explanation:

Amoeba reproduces by the common asexual reproduction method called binary fission. After replicating its genetic material through mitotic division, the cell divides into two equal sized daughter cells. ... This leads to the formation of the two daughter Amoebae cell having a nucleus and its own cell organelles.
