Answer:

13-3/2x=37

taking LCM,

13×2x/1×2x - 3/2x=37

26x-3 /2x=37

cross multiply

2x × 37=26x-3

74x=26x-3

74x-26x=-3

48x=-3

x=-3/48

x=-1/16

hope it helps you!

Lee watches tv for 3 hours per day. During that time the tv consumes 250 watts per hour. Electricity costs 12 cents/1 kilowatt-h
Leona [35]

Answer:

270 dollars

Step-by-step explanation:

He's going to watch 90 hours of tv in 30 days, so multiply 90 hours x 250 watts, Which is 22500 watts over 30 days, then convert to kilowatts which would be 22.5 kilowatts total. He used .25 kilowatts an hour every day. Then multiple 22.5 x 12 cents to get your answer 270. He paid 270 dollars for electricity for the tv.

Can anyone please answer it
ivanzaharov [21]

Answer: The answer is 15.

Step-by-step explanation:

In the question, we are informed:

2 1/2 cups sugar for the cake and 1 1/4 cup sugar for the vanilla icing are called for in Mr. Smith's recipe.

1st step

We total the amount of sugar he'll require.

1 1/4 + 2 1/2

(1/2 + 1/4) + (2 + 1)

= 3 + (2 Plus a quarter)

a total of 3 3/4 cups of sugar

2nd Step

How many 1/4 cup sugar scoops does he require?

This can be calculated as follows:

1/4 cup sugar 3 3/4 cup sugar

= 15/4 x 1/4 = 15/4 x 1/4 = 15/4 x 1/4 =

= 15/4/4 = 15/4/4 = 15/4/4 = 15/4/4 = 15/4

15

As a result, he'll require 15, 1/4 cup sugar scoops.

The perimeter of a rectangle is 194. The length is 25 more than 5 times the width. Find the dimensions.
Juli2301 [7.4K]

Answer:

 • 12 and 85

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

 • P = 194
 • l = 5w + 25
 • l = ?, w = ?

Solution

Perimeter formula

 • P = 2(l + w)

Substitute and solve for w:

 • 194 = 2(5w +25 + w)
 • 194 = 12w + 50
 • 12w = 144
 • w = 144/12
 • w = 12

Find the length:

 • l = 5*12 + 25 = 85
