3 0
2x-1 = 2x+3
2x = 2x+4
0=4
there is no solution

The reason for this is the equations have the same slope and they have different y-intercepts. this means that they are parallel and will never touch.

A yo-yo factory has fixed operating costs of $5000 per day plus costs of $2 per yo-yo produced. If a yo-yo sells for $5.50, what
Jlenok [28]

Answer:

1429

Step-by-step explanation:

Break even is expressed as:

5000+2x = 5.5x

5000=5.5x-2x

5000=3.5x

\frac{5000}{3.5} = \frac{3.5x}{3.5}

1428.57=x

Since you cannot sell a fractional yo-yo, round up to 1429
