If numbers go on does that mean there rational ?

Rational numbers are all real nubers (positive or negative) and can be written as a fraction.

That being said, if by "go on" you mean a series of numbers ( 1/2, 1, 2, etc) then yes they can be rational.

technically, yes because there is a mathematic formula behind numbers going on as long as it is a repeated pattern throughout the new numbers
