Heroin is a drug called an opioid which is derived from the opium. Heroin is a super illicit version of Morphine and a lot more nasty for a variety of reasons. It is a CNS depressant meaning that depresses the CNS response to stimuli usually leaving people in a very relaxed state, however they ignore the fact that this also affect to their internal processes. One of the most dangerous areas is when Heroin slows down breathing and the heart to the point where it just stops completely, which if that happens can lead to coma and death. Additionally disorientation, slurred speech, and aggression are a very big part of Heroin. It also doesn't help that needles usually used to inject Heroin in IVDA patients can be contaminated and reused by bloodborne pathogens like HIV.

Overdoses are exceptionally dangerous because as stated they can cause the heart to go into Cardiac Arrest or the lungs to reach the point of Respritory Arrest. Because of the amount of overdoses on the drug EMS personell carry a drug called Narcan whovh is designed to be an Opioid antagonists and stops the drugs processes within the brain reversing the affects in as little as a couple of minutes.

Answer:

C) neutropenia is a serious condition that often leads to sepsis

Explanation:

Neutropenia is a condition in which neutrophil's numbers in the blood get reduced. Neutrophils are one of the most abundant WBC which is present in our blood. So neutrophils play an important role in fighting the infection.

The main cause of neutropenia is chemotherapy so as here the 5-year girl went to chemotherapy which results in neutropenia so due to fewer neutrophils she got the infection from opportunistic pathogen due to which she has high fever and cough. Infection or sepsis is common in neutropenia.

Jackson wants to fit into last year's Halloween costume, but he has been building muscle and has gained a few healthy pounds sin
Anvisha [2.4K]
Jackson's friend can be of negative influence to Jackson's goal of being fit once he ruins the self-esteem of Jackson or his motivation to stay fit. Generally, if that friend doesn't support Jackson's ways or mocking him for having gained a few pounds. An example would be, "<span>I'm sure there are other costumes that will be good on you, as well." This statement implies that Jackson's weight is an extreme or unnative to society which poses negativity.</span>

Blisters that form from a burn should be popped to speed up healing time.
Vladimir79 [104]
No they shouldn’t. If you pop a blister you’re more likely to get an infection since it’s an open wound after you pop it. And if you get an infection the chances of you going into septic shock are high.
