14 or 41

41 - 14 = 37

4+1 = 5

The number is = 10x+y
if reverse the digits, the number is: 10y+x
The sum fo its digits is =  x+y=5
I suggest this system of equations:
(10y+x)-(10x+y)=27    ⇒9y-9x=27
x+y=5
We can solve this system of equations by equaliztion method
x=5-y

9y-9(5-y)=27
9y-45+9y=27
18y=27+45
18y=72
y=72/18
y=4

x=5-y
x=5-4=1

The number is: 10x+y=10(1)+4=14

Answer: the number is 14

Answer:

  54 -3n²

Step-by-step explanation:

The square of a number (n) is represented by n². Three times that value is represented by 3n².

The relation "a is subtracted from b" is represented as ...

  b - a

When 3n² is subtracted from 54, the appropriate representation is ...

  54 -3n²

Can someone tell me if i got this right? its all i need

Answer:

No, the answer is 120 plants per square foot

Step-by-step explanation:

What I did was first figure up the area of the triangle. You want to do this because the area will tell you how many square feet are in the garden. In order to find this, you need to use this formula: 1/2 b·h

Plug in the numbers like this: 1/2·15·8

15 is the base of the triangle, while 8 is the height of the triangle. Now solve your equation.

15·8=120

1/2·120=60

Area = 60

Now you know that the area is 60ft². So there are 60 square feet in the whole garden. But, we're not done yet. Jessica wants to put 2 plants in every 1 square foot. So now, we need to multiply 60 by 2 in order to get 2 plants in every 1 square foot.

60·2=120

Jessica can put 120 plants in the garden if she is wanting 2 plants per square foot.

I hope this makes sense and is easy to understand. Please let me know if you need any more help or clarification. I'm always happy to help! Have a great day and good luck!!

What is the length of AC?<br><br><br> 3 ft<br><br> 4 ft<br><br> 9 ft<br><br> 18 ft
iragen [17]

Answer: The length of AC is 18 ft.

Step-by-step explanation:

By the given diagram,

AM = MB and CN = NB

M and N are the mid points of the sides AB and CB respectively,

Thus, by the mid point theorem,

MN ║ AC,

By the alternative interior angle theorem,

∠BMN ≅ ∠BAC

∠BNM ≅ ∠BCA

Thus, by AA similarity postulate,

ΔBMN ≅ ΔBAC

By the property of similar triangles,

\frac{BM}{BA}=\frac{MN}{AC}

\frac{BM}{BM+MA}=\frac{MN}{AC}

\frac{4}{4+4}=\frac{9}{AC}

\frac{4}{8}=\frac{9}{AC}

4AC=72\implies AC = 18\text{ ft}

Thus, The length of AC is 18 ft.
