Uracil is a nitrogenous base that is only present in RNA.

Further Explanation:

As per central dogma, the genetic information moves from “DNA to RNA”via transcription and RNA to proteins through translation. In transcription, DNA is converted into RNA and translation is the process of converting RNA into amino acids, which joins together to form a polypeptide chain of proteins. DNA is a complex molecule composed of deoxyribose sugar, nitrogenous bases, and phosphate groups attached by glycosidic, phosphoanhydride and hydrogen bonds. Four types of base are present in DNA:

 • Adenine
 • Cytosine
 • Guanine
 • Thymine

Adenine and guanine are purines whereas, cytosine and thymine are pyrimidines. Purines base pairs with pyrimidines such that A pairs with T with two hydrogen bonds and G pairs with C with three hydrogen bonds. The sequence of bases is different for all individuals. RNA is a ribonucleic acid and is different from DNA by:

 • It is single-stranded
 • It has four bases namely, adenine, guanine, uracil, and cytosine
 • It consists of 2’ hydroxyl group

The correct answer is C. uracil. Uracil is one of the four nucleobases in the nucleic acid of RNA; it is a pyrimidine base to specific. During transcription, it binds to adenine by hydrogen bonds. It is thus basically comparable to thymine in DNA molecules.

matrenka [14]

In 1-rescuer basic life support (BLS) for a child with unwitnessed cardiac arrest, the rescuer should leave the victim to activate the emergency response system (and retrieve an Automated external defibrillator [AED]) after providing 2 minutes of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The compression-to-ventilation ratio is 30:2.
