Answer:

Relation between mutagens and carcinogens. Mutagenicity and carcinogenicity are clearly correlated. One study showed that 157 of 175 known carcinogens (approximately 90 percent) are also mutagens. The somatic mutation theory of cancer holds that these agents cause cancer by inducing the mutation of somatic cells.

Think about how diet and weight-loss companies advertise. How do they use bias to sell their products? How would you use skeptic
lys-0071 [83]
Diet and weightloss advertising puts super skinny models and actors/actresses saying they lost an insane amount of weight using their product. That is completely bias because they aren’t just going to say the model lost weight through other methods of weight loss because they are advertising THEIR product.
I would use skepticism evaluating these ads because I would be skeptical believing that someone lost 200 pounds in 2 months drinking some supplement.

Which part of an individual villus forms part of the lymphatic system and absorbs fats from the lumen of the small intestine?
Lostsunrise [7]
I believe the answer is the lacteals.
Lacteals are structures that are in the middle of each villi; they are lymphatic capillaries that absorbs dietary fats in the villi of the small intestines. Triglycerides are emulsified by bile and hydrolyzed by the enzyme lipase, resulting in a mixture of fatty acids and monoglycerides. The lacteals merge to form larger lymphatic vessels that transport chyle to the thoracic duct where it is emptied into the blood stream at the subclavian vein.
