Patricians were the wealthy land owners and they were the leading social class. Plebeians were the ordinary citizens of Rome.

Plebeians were the ordinary citizens of Rome. They started their life everyday in the agricultural farm and after dinner, they are off to sleep as they have to toil hard in the field the next day. Patricians were the wealthy aristocrats who need not toil hard as they own huge properties. Patricians are mostly senators holding high positions in the Roman government.

Plebeians children were home schooled by their parents whereas the rich children were educated in private schools. Plebeians lived in Insula which is a three storied apartment made up of wood. It is not well furnished as that of patrician's house. Patricians lived in a villa which had an antica and postica and many other rooms which were spacious.
