Read the following excerpt and answer the question below. "These Ethiopians, as black as they are; seeing they are the Sons and

Daughters of the First Adam, the Brethren and Sister of the Last ADAM, and the Offspring of GOD; They ought to be treated with a Respect agreeable." This excerpt supports all but which main idea? People of African descent are not less human than whites and should be treated with respect. That Africans come from the area where Adam and Eve came from. That the Bible says we should love all people. That everyone is a child of the same God.

Answer:

That the Bible says we should love all people.

Explanation:

In this excerpt, the author encourages people to be respectful of Africans (in this case, particularly Ethiopians). The author tells us that African people are considered the sons and daughters of the first Adam. They are also the children of God. This implies that African people are as human and as deserving of respect and love as any other person, simply because we are all children of the same God.

How do these deaths figure into the larger plot of the story? What greater meaning might they signify?
allochka39001 [22]

Deaths add emotional value to a story. Deaths can be important to a storyline because it effects many things. It effects the other character's emotions, and it's one less character to fulfill things and help with problems.

Also, once a reader has started to feel things from a story, it's harder for them to put the book down. It makes the reader feel a deeper connection to the characters and plot. It adds interest.
