The importance is to pray and for there religion

Everything would be anarchy. No one would have to go to school and no one will be held accountable for their actions. The world will literally go down. Also, there would be more violence and crimes. nothing would run smoothly and it would be like the purge.
Although none of these are technically exactly very true, the best answer is that "containment was successful". this is because the war ended in a military stalemate.
