Answer: B)Don’t they see that students who are required to serve others as a volunteer will become more kind and considerate people in their real life?

Explanation:This is an example of a flaw in logical thinking. This is a hasty over generalization because it assumes that somehow being forced to volunteer for service work will make you a kinder person in your real life without any real justification.

Which evidence from the Newsela article “Health Benefits of Reading, Writing, Are Not Just for Patients" best supports the infer
Sphinxa [80]

Answer: A. A movement called narrative medicine has been growing. It comes from the idea that both writing and reading literature can help doctors and patients to communicate better. Together they can discover meaning in the illnesses they battle.

Explanation:

It has long been acknowledged in the medical field that poor communication between patients and health workers have led to several fatalities. Indeed a study in the 1900s found that between 44,000 and 98,000 patient deaths in a year resulted from poor communication. While that was a long time ago, it is still a troubling figure.

This is where Narrative Medicine comes in. It is believed that if both patients and doctors can read and write more literature they will be able to enunciate better the symptoms that they feel and doctors would then be able to pick up conditions faster which would mean less misdiagnosis.

Patients therefore play a major role in their own treatment because they have to be able to communicate better, the symptoms they feel and they can do this by reading and writing more.

Write an essay that analyzes the use of poetry in Through the Looking-Glass
GuDViN [60]

Answer:

The nonsensical poetry of Through the Looking-Glass highlights how difficult it is for the characters to communicate with each other. It is especially significant that nursery rhymes come true after Alice recites them.I think that Alice needs to stop arguing with the characters she meets in the Looking-Glass land and just accept the rules. The strange characters of the Looking-Glass World emphasize its peculiarity.Because Alice is an outsider, she has many difficulties navigating through and understanding the rules of the Looking-Glass land.Alice matures on her journey through the Looking-Glass land; for example, she learns to control her emotions.
