Answer:  For number 1, I think that -9.25 is not an integer. Number 2 it is -2. #3, the answer is $6.02. #4 is $15.31.  #5 is B. 3/4 =15/6.

Step-by-step explanation:

I don't really know how to explain #1 to you, so sorry. Number 2 it is -2 because -5 + 13 is 8. Then when you subtract 10 from 8 you get -2. Number 3, the answer is $6.02 because you know that it costs $4.30 for each pound. She got 1.4 pounds of bacon. Multiply to find your answer. Number 4 is $15.31. Since you need to multiply 12.95 by 2. He got 2 shirts for 12.95 so that's why. Then add 8.79 to 12.95 to get $15.31. Number 5, 3/4 is not equivalent to 15/16. Hope this helps!!!!!

162 is what percent of 200
Vsevolod [243]
In order to find out what percentage of 200 162 is, we just need to divide 162 by 200.

162 / 200 = 0.81

To transform the decimal to a percentage, we just need to multiply it by 100.

0.81 * 100 = 81

162 is 81% of 200.
Hope that helped =)

Classify the object with the given side lengths as acute, obtuse, right, or not a triangle.
iren [92.7K]

Answer:

We have to first see that the given lengths makes a triangle or not by using a+b > c in which a,b and c are

length of sides of a triangle lets check out

16 + 21 = 37 > 28

21 + 28 = 49 > 16

16+ 28 = 44 > 21

As because the statement fits correct in the lengths given so its a triangle

So we can say that the triangle is scalene by means of measurements

but cant be a right angle as by taking the pythagorean triplet

= a^2 + b ^ 2 = c^2

lets see if a=16, b = 21 and c = 28

So a^2 + b^2

= 256 + 441

= 697

but c^2

= 28^2 = 784

As 441 =/= 784

So The triangle lengths cant be a right angled triangle

So 1/2 of possibility is the traingle acute and 1/2 of the possibilty that the triangle is obtuse

Now you can find the correct triangle on the basis of acute or obtuse angle by drawing with given length of sides of triangle

Hope it helps

The sum of two squares of two consecutive natural numbers is 41.Find the numbers
Arada [10]
<h3><u>AnswEr</u><u> </u><u>:</u></h3>

The 2 unknown numbers are 4 and 5 .

<h3><u>Expla</u><u>nation</u><u> </u><u>:</u></h3>

Let the numbers be x and x + 1.

From the given information,

\dashrightarrow\sf \ \ \ x^2 + (x + 1)^2 = 41 \\ \\ \\

\dashrightarrow\sf \ \ \ 2 {x}^{2} + 2x + 1 = 41 \\ \\ \\

\dashrightarrow\sf \ \ \ 2 {x}^{2} + 2x + 1 - 41=0 \\ \\ \\

\dashrightarrow\sf \ \ \ {x}^{2} + x - 20 = 0 \\ \\ \\

\dashrightarrow\sf \ \ \ (x + 5)(x - 4)=0 \\ \\ \\

\dashrightarrow\sf \ \ \ { \underline{ \boxed{ \bf{ \red{x = - 5,4}}}}} \ \bigstar \\ \\

But, as we know -5 is not a natural number,

Hence, x = 4 .

<u>So the 2 unknown numbers are</u><u> </u><u>:</u>

  • x = 4 [1st number]

  • x + 1 = 4 + 1 = 5 [2nd number]
