Each of the four geographically divided colonies had their own specific economic activities, mostly influenced by the climate and natural resources of the area.
The Southern colonies had economy based around farming, by mostly producing corn, fruits, vegetables, cotton, tobacco. The Chesapeake economy was based mostly around the production of tobacco.
