The correct answer is D) the attempts of European nations to control trade in China.

The Open Door Policy resulted from the attempts of European nations to control trade in China.

The United States came up with the concept of "Open Door Policy" in 1899. They wanted to protect the same privileges to the countries that traded with China. The US did not want European nations and other Asian powers to absolutely control the commerce activity with the Asian country. US Secretary of State informed other nations of this situation. Great Britain, France, Italy, Russia, Japan, and Germany. These countries accepted the initiative that regulated trade actions between these countries for four decades.

What was a push factor in the great migration
yKpoI14uk [10]

Answer:

Explanation:

The leading causes of the great migration were racial segregation and very poor economic conditions. The people who escaped that had to look elsewhere for a better economic base and a more tolerant society than in the south where Jim Crow laws were upheld. It is hard to say which push factor was stronger in this case because the terror was combined with very poor living conditions and the whole situation of black folks in the south was very bad.

What effect did the american offensive in the meuse argonne area have on ending world war 1
Anit [1.1K]
It helped because it enabled other fronts to open up because the American Offensive in the area ended with a victory, which meant that they could move to other areas and bother Germans there. They didn't' do this however because the fighting ended since the Germans became aware of their losses and signed an armistice.
