Answer:

The partnership between IT and the business at Hefty Hardware was ineffective as there were clear communication gaps. The business group thinks that the IT has no knowledge of the business whereas the IT team thinks that the business has no understanding of the technical issues in IT system.

Therefore, correspondence is needed by sitting and working together to achieve the common organizational goals.

Explanation:

1. Shortcomings of both IT and the business.

The business often feels that the IT don’t have the required competence for finding solution for business problems, since IT is not involved in the executive business meetings. Similarly the business managers do not understand the technical jargon when the IT tries to explain the technical aspects of the solution. Hefty Hardware do not has solid foundation and good relationship between the IT and the Business department, and this issue became the main problem that Hefty should deal with it to make sure that the current and future projects will success.

2. Plan for how IT and the business can work collaboratively to deliver the Savvy Store program successfully

To work in the same coordinated flow, IT and the business need to work collaboratively by attending the executive meetings together since the beginning where the ideas are brainstormed.

Weekly or fortnightly meetings should be held to discuss the progress and follow up on the previously decided agendas. All must be documented for review and future reference.

Yuliya22 [10]
Here is the correct order of investments from Lower Risk to Higher Risk: <span> Treasury bond − Diversified mutual fund – Stock

Treasury bond is released by Government, so unless your country went bankrupt, it is safe to assume that you will get the investment back.

Diversified mutual fund puts your eggs in a lot of baskets So in case one of your investment fail, the others could still support your overall investments

Since the stock is a single entity and really fluctuative, it is considered as the most dangerous type of investment.

I'm guessing they want you to find the standard deviation.

It would be easy to do this in a statistical calculator, but I suspect they want you to do it by hand.

Here are the steps for a manual calculation.

1. Count the elements in the data set

N = 8

2 Calculate the sum of the data set

\displaystyle \sum_{i = 1}^{8}x_{i} = 2011

3. Calculate the mean

\mu_{x} = \dfrac{2011}{8}  = 251.375

4. Calculate the standard deviation

(a) Subtract the mean from each data point

(b) Square the differences

(c) Add the squares  of the differences

(d) Divide the sum by the number of terms

(e)Take the square root of the result

We can set up a table to organize the calculations.

\begin{array}{rrr}\mathbf{x} & \mathbf{x - \mu} & \mathbf{(x - \mu)^{2}}\\298 & 46.63 &2174\\125 & -126.38 & 15971\\411 & 156.93 & 254801\\157 & -94.38 & 8907\\231 & -20.38 & 415\\213 & -38.38 & 1473\\304 & 52.63 & 2769\\272 & 20.63 & 425\\\sum = \mathbf{2011} & & \mathbf{57614}\\\end{array}\\\\\sigma = \sqrt{\dfrac{ 57614}{8}} = \sqrt{7201.7} = \mathbf{\$84.86}

Imagine you borrow $1,100 from your roommate, agreeing to pay her back $1,100 plus 7 percent nominal interest in one year. Assum
MAXImum [283]

Answer:

Dollar amount that you have to pay =  $1.179,52

Dollar amount of interest results of real rate = $40,03

Explanation:

First of all, you have to convert the annual interest rate to annual efective rate with the next procedure:

a) transform annual interest rate to monthly interest rate:

Monthly interest= (7%/12) = 0,58%

b) Now you have to convert to  annual efective rate

Annual effective : =((1+0,58%)^(12))- 1 = 7,23%

Now that you has this rate, you can calculate how much money you have to pay at the end of the year with the formula of future value:

FV= amount monye borrowed *(( 1+7,23%)^(1))

FV $1.100 *(1+7,23)

FV=  $1.179,52

Secondly, you need to have to do the same  procedure with the inflation

FV= amount monye borrowed *(( 1+3,59%)^(1))

FV $1.100 *(1+3,59%)

FV=  $1.139,49

Now if you have to make the next operation and find the difference between the amount of the value that you have to pay to your friend and substract the calculous

amount of the interest payment is the result of the real rate

$1.179,52 - $1.139,49 =  $40,03
