Bicycle has 2 wheels and 2 pedals
tricycle has 3 wheels and 2 pedals

EQ 1 : 2b + 2t = 170 pedals

 EQ 2: 2b +3t = 206 wheels

subtract  EQ 1 from EQ 2

2b +3t = 206 - 2b + 2t = 170 = t=36

 there were 36 tricycles

36 x 2 = 72 pedals

170 pedals - 72 = 98 pedals left
98/2 = 49 bicycles

36 Tricycles and 49 bicycles

Seung and Razi are both filling party favor bags for their birthdays at a constant rate. Razi’s progress is shown in the table.
Natalka [10]

Answer:

Each minute Seung fills one less bag than Razi.

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the rate of change.

<u>Razi's rate of change:</u>

\dfrac{y(b)-y(a)}{b-a}\\ \\=\dfrac{y(2)-y(1)}{2-1}\\ \\=\dfrac{44-48}{2-1}\\ \\=\dfrac{-4}{1}\\ \\=-4

<u>Seung's rate of change:</u>

\dfrac{y(b)-y(a)}{b-a}\\ \\=\dfrac{y(4)-y(3)}{4-3}\\ \\=\dfrac{31-34}{4-3}\\ \\=\dfrac{-3}{1}\\ \\=-3

This means Razi packs 4 bags per minute, Seung packs 3 bags per minute.

<u>Difference</u> = 4 - 3 = 1 bag

Each minute Seung fills one less bag than Razi.

Stells [14]

Answer:

c.12

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the concept of sample space, it is found that the number of possible outcomes in the experiment is given by:

C. 12

The sample space of an experiment is the set that contains all possible outcomes.

In this problem:

For the coin, there are 2 outcomes.

For the dice, there are 6 outcomes.

The coin and the dice are independent, thus, there are 2 x 6 = 12 possible outcomes, which means that the correct option is:
