(n+3)^2. n=4. First thing you do is plug 4 in to n. (4+3)^2 then always do what is in parentheses first so (7)^2 so seven squared equals 49.

77. (n+3) *assume that the asterisk represents the power of 2.

1) your first step is to figure out what n equals in this problem.

2) n=4 so now that we know that n equals 4 we can then begin to solve this equation.

3) so we will then plug in n=3 so the equation will now look like (3+3) *

4) following pemdas we simplify it to (3+3) * --> (6) *

5) then we square 6 and our answer is 36 (: because 6 times 6 is 36.

6) n=36

153.8=3.14(r)squared
uysha [10]

153.8 = 3.14r^2

Divide each side by 3.14 to get r alone.

48.9 = r^2

Take the square root of each side to isolate r.

r = 6.999

r= 7

Help please
Calculate the product of 8/15, 6/5, and 1/3.
miv72 [106K]
To find this answer, multiply the numerators across: (8 x 6 x 1) = 48, and the denominators in the same fashion: (15 x 5 x 3) = 225. This gives a non-reduced fraction of 48/225, which, when reduced by 3s, gives a product of 16/75.

Vlad1618 [11]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

You can create a ratio from the provided recipe,

for every 6 cups of brown sugar you need 9 cups of white sugar so it would be 6:9

?:24

24/9=2.6

6x2.6=15.6

so for 24 cups of white sugar you would need about 16 cups of brown sugar.
