Leo and her on spent 3/4 hour shopping 5/6 hour preparing the pizzas and 11/12 hour cleaning up after the party how many minutes
Aneli [31]

Answer:

150 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

First we have to express all these fractions of an hour in minutes, then add them and get the total of minutes.

To pass these numbers in hours to minutes, we only have to multiply by 60 because one hour has 60 minutes.

3/4 h =

3/4 * 60 = 45m

5/6 h =

5/6 * 60 = 50m

11/12 h =

11/12 * 60 = 55m

to calculate the total number of minutes we have to add the 3 values that we have

45m + 50m + 55m = 150m

What did I do wrong when finding out the sector area? I know the answer I got is wrong so can someone please help me
bonufazy [111]
I believe your mistake is that you are trying to use the sector area formula ti find arc length when there is already a formula for it.
The formula for it is
2r\pi( \frac{degree}{360} )
So first substitute the values in and then simplify!
2(10.5)\pi( \frac{118}{360} )
Now simplify!
21 × 118 is 2478 so it's
\frac{2478}{360} \pi
When divided ou and multiplied, this is 21.62cm!

4 square root of 6<br> over square root of 2
NeTakaya
4 square root of 6 means 4 times \sqrt{6}
so the equation is\frac{4 \sqrt{6} }{ \sqrt{2} }
we can simplify this as a fraction
remember that \sqrt{xy}= (\sqrt{x}) (\sqrt{y}) so
4 \sqrt{6}=4( \sqrt{3})( \sqrt{2}) so it is now
\frac{4 \sqrt{3}( \sqrt{2})  }{ \sqrt{2} }=   (\frac{4 \sqrt{3}} {1} )( \frac{ \sqrt{2} }{ \sqrt{2} })=  (\frac{4 \sqrt{3}} {1} )(1)=4 \sqrt{3}
