A scatterplot is produced to compare the size of a school building to the number of students at that school who play an instrume
nata0808 [166]

There is not relationship between the size of a school building and the number of students who play an instrument because the scatterplot does not have a cluster.

Answer: Option A.

<u>Explanation:</u>

A scatterplot is a type of data display that shows the relationship between two variables. It makes use of the Cartesian coordinates to plot the values of the two variables for a set of data. This is used to show how much is one variable is affected by the other variable.

Since in the scatterplot which is being talked about in this question, it is scattered and is not clustered, this shows that there is no relationship between the size of the school and the number of the students who play instruments in the school.

How to solve this part
san4es73 [151]

Try this solution (the way shown is not the shortest one):

The task on the left part:

1. note, the point P and R have coordinates (-4;-4) and (-3;-2).

2. using the coordinates of points P and R it is possible to make up the equation of the required line:

\frac{x-x_P}{x_R-x_P} =\frac{y-y_P}{y_R-y_P}; \ => \ \frac{x+4}{-3+4}=\frac{y+4}{-2+4}; \ => \ \frac{x+4}{1}=\frac{y+4}{2}  \ or \ y=2x+4

The task of the right part:

1. note, the common view of the equation of the line is y=kx+b, where b - an intersection point of the Y-axis and the given line; k=QR/PQ.

2. according the picture b= -5, k=4/1=5, so <u>y= -4x-5</u>

This is all it gave me 6 C 2 = a0
frozen [14]

Answer:

\binom{6}{2} = a_{0}=15

Step-by-step explanation:

\binom{6}{2} = a_{0}

\binom{n}{r} =\frac{n!}{r!\times(n-r)!}

It is representing a combination form where, n is number of items we have and r is the number of items we choose from n

Here, n = 6 , r = 2

\binom{6}{2} =\frac{6!}{2!\times(6-2)!}

==\frac{6!}{2!\times(4)!}

n!=n\times(n-1)\times(n-2)\times(n-3).....\times3\times2\times1

=\frac{6\times5\times4!}{2\times(4)!}

=\frac{6\times5}{2}

={3\times5}

={15}=a_0

Thus, \binom{6}{2} = a_{0}=15

I’m confused wit this worksheet
m_a_m_a [10]

Okay so you see those dots located in the fist question right? locate the coordinates ( 1, 2)

Now that you have located them, look at what the question asks

"move 3 units left and 7 units up" and what you do is move vertices ( 1,2) (aka the dot) 3 units left and move it up 7 times.

And now your new location for (1,2) should be (-2,5) because you moved the (1,2) dot 3 units to the left and 7 units up.

( now do the same for the rest of the other dots)
