You have to solve the equation that is giving to you. Number 1 you most use PEMDAS. If there is no Parentheses then you move on. If there is then you must always do that first. There usely not any Exponents but when there is you must do that like say you have 2^3. Then you do 2*2*2 which would equal out to 6. tat's how you solve that don't do 2*3 cause that is not the answer. The next one is Multiplication easy find what you need to mutlipy and do that to solve you're problem. Next on is Division you dived that's it that's all. Oh yea and if Division comes before multiplication then you do the division. Same for Adding and Subtraction which are the last to if subtraction comes first then you do that and if addition comes first then that's what you need to do.
