I believe the answer is c ,BECAUSE... to find the change you take 5000 multiply it by the numbers that if aded would equal 5600 and 5000 times .12= 600, 5000 +600= 5600 hence the number of population in 2010.

Fill in Sin, Cos, and tan ratio for angle x. <br> Sin X = 4/5 (28/35 simplified)
Fantom [35]

Answer:

Given: \sin(x) = (4/5).

Assuming that 0 < x < 90^{\circ}, \cos(x) = (3/5) while \tan(x) = (4/3).

Step-by-step explanation:

By the Pythagorean identity \sin^{2}(x) + \cos^{2}(x) = 1.

Assuming that 0 < x < 90^{\circ}, 0 < \cos(x) < 1.

Rearrange the Pythagorean identity to find an expression for \cos(x).

\cos^{2}(x) = 1 - \sin^{2}(x).

Given that 0 < \cos(x) < 1:

\begin{aligned} &\cos(x) \\ &= \sqrt{1 - \sin^{2}(x)} \\ &= \sqrt{1 - \left(\frac{4}{5}\right)^{2}} \\ &= \sqrt{1 - \frac{16}{25}} \\ &= \frac{3}{5}\end{aligned}.

Hence, \tan(x) would be:

\begin{aligned}& \tan(x) \\ &= \frac{\sin(x)}{\cos(x)} \\ &= \frac{(4/5)}{(3/5)} \\ &= \frac{4}{3}\end{aligned}.

The areas of two similar triangles are 72dm^2 and 50dm^2. The sum of their perimeters is 226dm. What is the perimeter of each of
Kruka [31]

Answer:

Per2 = 102.727 dm

Per1 = 123.272 dm

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the area of similar triangles are related to the square of their perimeters.

This means that

(Per1^2)/(Per2^2)  =  Area1 / Area2

If we take the square root of the previous equation

(Per1)/(Per2)  =  \sqrt{Area1 / Area2}

(Per1)/(Per2)  =  \sqrt{72/ 50}

(Per1)/(Per2) = 1.2

We also know that

Per1 + Per2 = 226 dm

So,

1.2*Per2 + Per2 = 226 dm

2.2*Per2 = 226 dm

Per2 = 102.727 dm

Per1 = 1.2*Per2 = 123.272 dm
