Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation:

If you look at point D, translate it 1 unit to the left, and 2 up, it will be at point (-5,-1). And option C is the only answer option where point D is at those coordinates.

A crew ship has 148 rooms with fifty on each of the two upper decks and the rest on the two lower decks.An upper deck room cost
AURORKA [14]
I'm not sure what your four step plan is, but here is how I would solve it:

50 rooms on each upper deck x 2 decks = 100 rooms

100 rooms x 1000 per room = 100,000

That leaves 48 rooms on the 2 lower decks, so 48/2=24 rooms per lower deck

48 rooms x 900 per room = 43,200

100,000 + 43,200 = $143,200 (maximum room sales amount)

Hope this helps!! :)

slavikrds [6]

Answer:

a) $23 500

b) $6 700

Step-by-step explanation:

19300-13700/7-3

decrease of $1400/y

19300 + (3*1400) = original price

                            = $23 500

value after 12 years = 23 500 - (1400*12)

                                 = $6 700

A door with width 4.20 has an arc as shown in the diagram. Find: a the radius of the arc, to the nearest cm b the length of the
White raven [17]

Answer:

The arc length is 4 cm to the nearest cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The diagram is not given in this question, but we can proceed anyways.

from the problem statement we can observe that the radius of the arc is same as the width of the door

a. the radius is 4.2 cm

b. the length of the arc given that the central angle is 25° can be gotten using the formula stated bellow

arc length = 2 π r *(∅/360)

substituting we have

arc length = 2*3.142*(225/360)

arc length= 6.284*0.625

arc length=3.92 cm

Approximately the arc length is 4 cm

Please help me in solving for x and y
swat32

Answer:

x =  27/2

y = 7/2

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve for x:

We know that 7x + 30 and 11x - 24 are vertical angles. Therefore, they are congruent/equal to each other.

7x + 30 = 11x - 24

Isolate the variable & solve for x.

x = 27/2

To solve for y:

We know that 5y + 38 and 17y - 4 are vertical angles. Therefore, they are congruent/equal to each other.

5y + 38 = 17y - 4

Isolate the variable & solve for y.

y = 7/2

Hope this helps!
