Dirty water and strong currents greeted these hardy anglers and both of those conditions are detrimental to tog catching.

A few boaters also found success with these fish especially in the Leipsic River. Bloodworms remain the best bait for perch and rockfish with chicken livers or cut bunker a good choice for the catfish.</span>
