Natasha_Volkova [10]
The car cost $4,155 and she has $1,575 so $4,155-$1,575=$2,580as the balanced owed if she borrows the rest from her parents and has a one year to pay it off it will be paid off because her payments are $225 a month for one year  at 225x12=$2,700 its a little over but it will be paid off

Which function could be represented by the graph on the coordinate plane? f(x) = (x – 8)2 6 f(x) = (x 8)2 6 f(x) = (x 8)2 – 6 f(
hjlf

Considering it's vertex, the quadratic equation that could be represented on the plane is given as follows:

f(x) = (x - 8)² - 6.

<h3>What is the equation of a parabola given it’s vertex?</h3>

The equation of a quadratic function, of vertex (h,k), is given by:

y = a(x - h)² + k

In which a is the leading coefficient.

Researching the problem on the internet, it is found that the given graph has vertex at (8,-6), hence <u>h = 8, k = -6 and considering a = 1</u> the equation is given as follows:

f(x) = (x - 8)² - 6.

A boat drops an anchor 75 feet to the bottom of a lake. A sunken treasure chest lies at the bottom of the lake, 40 feet away fro
Reil [10]
Given
Height (length) of the anchor dropped from the boat = 75 feet
Distance of the treasure from the anchor = 40 feet

Solution
The dropped at the bottom makes an angle of 90 degree . Therefore making an right triangle with the chest and boat

By Pythagoras theorem
AC^2 = AB^2 + BC^2

(AC = distance of the treasure from the boat
AB = height of the anchor dropped from the boat
BC = the distance of treasure from the anchor)

AC^2 = 75^2 + 40^2
AC^2 = 5325 +1600
AC^2 = 6925
AC = 25 * (under root 11)

Therefore they have cover a distance of 25 * (under root 11)
