States your opinion of the great society. Was it a success of failure explain why you feel this way
Wewaii [24]
Great Society was a failure.

(It is a great idea to help poor people.  There will always be poor people. No matter what you do.)

Also too much money was being dumped in Vietnam, and Johnson was not paying attention.  Should have maybe pulled troops out of Vietnam then started his Communist ideas.

Sorry maybe a bit too rough.  But they were.  Some people will work harder then others, why should they not get paid more for what they do?

what describes Zachary Taylor’s position on slavery in new territories during his presidential campaign?
Nadya [2.5K]

Answer:

A slave owner himself, President Taylor adopted some antislavery political positions. He opposed the spread of slavery to new U.S. territories. However, he also vacillated over supporting the Wilmot Proviso, a rider which prohibited slavery in any territory acquired from Mexico following the Mexican-American War.
