A construction crew built 1/2 miles of road in 1/6 days. What is the unit rate in miles per day? Write your answer in simplest f
ANTONII [103]

Answer:

Unit rate miles per day is, 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Unit rate are defined as the rate are expressed as quantity of 1 such that 2 miles per hour or 5 km per hour.

As per the given statement: A construction crew built 1/2 miles of road in 1/6 days

by unit rate definition;

\text{Unit rate per day} =\frac{\text{Number of miles}}{\text{Number of days}}

After substituting the given values we have

⇒ \text{Unit rate per day} = \frac{\frac{1}{2} }{\frac{1}{6} }

or

\text{Unit rate per day} = \frac{1}{2} \times 6 = \frac{6}{2} = 3

Therefore, unit rate miles per day is, 3

Please help me !!!! and explain !
Vladimir [108]

Find the scale factor of the two cylinders:

Figure A has an r of 4 and figure B has an r of 2:

2 / 4 = 0.50, so Figure B is half the size of Figure A.

Since you want the volume, which is measured in cubic units, you need to cube the scale factor:

0.5^3 = 0.125

Multiply the volume of Figure A by the scale factor:

352 x 0.125 = 44 cubic feet.

Madison is carrying a 11.3 liter jug of sports drink that weighs 7 kg.
stellarik [79]

Answer:

          \large\boxed{\large\boxed{constat\text{ }multiple=\frac{113liter}{70kg}}}

Explanation:

The <em>constant multiple of liters in a jug to the weight in kilograms</em> is the ratio or <em>fraction</em> that represents the number of liters of the sports drink in a jug to the weight.

constat\text{ }multiple=ratio=\frac{number\text{ }of\text{ }liters}{weight\text{ }in\text{ }kg}

constat\text{ }multiple=\frac{11.3liter}{7kg}

Convert the fraction into an equivalent fraction with integer numbers:

constat\text{ }multiple=\frac{11.3liter\times 10}{7kg\times 10}=\frac{113liter}{70kg}

Since, the fraction cannot be reduced, that is the answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. so basically 9/6=18/x

since they are similir the'd have the same ratio

sooo you just solve for x (multiply 6 by 18, and then divide by 9) and you get 12

2. same thing except you put 6/10=12/x, and solve it (multiply 10 by 12 and divide by 6) and u get 20

dats how i would do it but there are other ways too im sure :)
