Why did SADD change their name from Students Against Drunk Driving to Students Against Destructive Decisions?
natka813 [3]

Answer:

While drunk driving is also a destructive decision they changed their name to encompass all bad decisions. They wanted to send a message of a bigger picture and teach people how to make good decisions that were not only tied to being drunk or sober. They wanted to start talking about all the bad decisions we make and how to avoid making them and to start taking responsibility for the actions that we do.
