Answer:

The answer is true.

Explanation:

David Émile Durkheim established the sociology's discipline and he was also considered as the main person related to the creation of modern social science. He was born in France on 15 April 1858. Most of his works were regarding societies and their relation with modernity.

He was concerned about integrity and coherence in societies and how these two aspects could be supported in modernity because this is a period in which aspects like traditional social as well as religious ties are not considered important, and it is also a period with the presence of new social institutions.

List 4 human activities that contribute to erosion and deposition. Explain how these activities may be modified to reduce erosio
Pani-rosa [81]

Answer:

Human activities cause erosion in a number of ways across the globe. Research has shown that humans are responsible for more erosion than natural processes.

1. Deforestation - it drastically causes an increase in the erosion rates as plant roots hold soil tightly that prevent erosion due to wind and water but cutting trees increases it. Plantation reduces erosions.

2. Agricultural practices have an impact on erosion rate. This promotes the likelihood of erosion, as the soil can be transported more easily due to wind and water.

3. Growing monocultures - one type of crop leads to an increase in erosion as nutrition and components of soil are drastically reduced. r

4. chemical fertilizers in agriculture can also increase soil erosion, as these chemicals damage, the flora, and fauna that live in the soil.

5. Mining/walking or biking and other practices can also contribute to erosion gradually over time. Mining exposed soil during this process.

Which bony landmarks can be palpated on the anterior surface of the body, close to the midline?
kogti [31]

The bone that serves as a landmark on the medial linear and anterior surface of the body that can be palpated is the pubic tubercle.

In the body it has reference planes to make an intervention or revision in it much easier. For example:

The upper part includes:

  • Torso
  • Arms
  • Head

The lower part includes:

  • Legs
  • Feet

Other planes of the body are:

The front, which includes

  • The face
  • The chest
  • Knees
  • Abdomen

The back, which includes:

  • Nape
  • Back
  • Buttocks
  • Calves
  • Heel

In this plane it is possible to have bony reference points to the touch, one of the main ones is in the middle area and is:

  • The pubic tubercle, the bony prominence located on the anterior slope of the horizontal branch of the pubis. It is the place of insertion of the inguinal ligament.

This prominence can be felt on the skin and serves as a landmark in the human body.

Based on the map what conclusion can you draw about the eastern woodlands people
Helga [31]

I can't give a good answer without a map but I will try. The Eastern Woodlands is a cultural area of the indigenous people of North America. The Eastern Woodlands extended roughly from the Atlantic Ocean to the eastern Great Plains, and from the Great Lakes region to the Gulf of Mexico, which is now occupied by the eastern United States and Canada. This land was occupied by indigenous people of North America. Eastern Woodland Native Americans commonly lived in wigwams or wickiups. ... Trade between the Europeans and the Natives was extremely popular. Native Americans would trade deer hides, and beaver pelts for European goods such as guns, knives, wool, silver, beads, and kettles. Corn provided a large portion of the diet. The Indigenous people of the Eastern Woodlands spoke languages belonging to several language groups, including Algonquian, Iroquoian, Muskogean, and Siouan, as well as apparently isolated languages such as Calusa, Chitimacha, Natchez, Timucua, Tunica and Yuchi.

I hope this helps
