It prohibits self incrimination. The 6th amendment  which guarantees rights of criminal defendants which includes the right to public trial without unnecessary delay. The due process could not be could not be incorporated by the Fourteenth Amendment this is because  the Fourteenth Amendment has had a profound impact on American jurisprudence.
