Answer:The sturdy oak

Explanation:

The sturdy oak is a stereotypic view that a man or male person is a self-sufficient pillar of strength who can not depend on anyone but can do things on their own without any assistance. This makes a male person believes that showing that you have doubts about something will make you look weak and unmanly such that a person never express their doubts.

This put pressure in men and they suffer greatly in their work environment because they can not openly admit when they don't know something. This is the case with Brendan,he can't ask because it will make him look unmanly.
