Explain how the organisms in the food web might be affected if more sea otters were introduced into the area
mash [69]

Answer:

The other organisms in the food web's population would decrease because the sea otter is the top predator in the area, and if there are more sea otters, then the other organisms would decrease because the sea otters would prey on them. (Except for seaweed, sea snails, and periwinkle, they would increase because the organisms that consume them are decreasing, or they have more food because of the lack of competition.)

What do scientists believe has caused global temperatures over the past 100 years to rise faster than ever before
wlad13 [49]
Global warming is what scientists conclude has caused the massive rise in temperature. Greenhouse gases are in the atmosphere, keeping heat trapped around Earth. The more these gases build up, the warmer or the more significant rise in temperature will take place. Greenhouse gases are released when we use fossil fuels, burn fires, etc. We are using more of these than ever, especially with the world's growing population.

I hope this helps!

How do scientists use data to determine the epicenter of an earthquake
aev [14]

Answer:

Use of Triangulation, and interaction of the three circles.

Explanation:

 • To determine the epicenter of the earthquakes the scientist study the patterns of the waves and use this method to find the exact location of the earthquakes.
 • As the earthquake has P and S waves that are released with force the distance that these waves travel are calculated with the distance of the radio waves that is reflected from least three different locations, thus it's named as triangulation all three sides.
 • About three seismographs are used to locate these waves, along with the use of the GIS technology prediction of the faults and the future occurrence of earthquakes of done.
