Read the excerpt from "A Modest Proposal." But, as to my self, having been wearied out for many years with offering vain, idle,

visionary thoughts, and at length utterly despairing of success, I fortunately fell upon this proposal, which, as it is wholly new, so it hath something solid and real, of no expence and little trouble, full in our own power, and whereby we can incur no danger in disobliging England. Which statement effectively paraphrases this excerpt using a quotation? Swift states that he has “been wearied out for many years with offering vain, idle, visionary thoughts” and almost gave up any hope of ever achieving success of any kind. Swift writes that after much time and effort, he has finally come up with a solution that is “solid and real, of no expence and little trouble” to address the problem of poverty. “I fortunately fell upon this proposal, which, as it is wholly new, so it hath something solid and real, of no expence and little trouble, full in our own power,” claims Swift. Since we can incur no danger in disobliging England, Swift believes he has come up with a proposal that will finally solve the issue of overwhelming poverty in England.

In A Modest Proposal, Swift satirically describes his period tragedy, namely the devastating poverty. He proposes a tragicomic solution to the poverty by notifying poor people that the only solution is to sell their children. In this excerpt, we can observe that stance accurately in the second option where it is clearly noted that solid and real, with a little trouble he came to conclusion for the solution of poverty. Therefore, the correct option is the second one - Swift writes that after much time and effort, he has finally come up with a solution that is “solid and real, of no expence and little trouble” to address the problem of poverty.

What’s something that you used to like or do that you now find slightly embarrassing? Why do you think your feelings have change
Lelu [443]

Something that I used to like was a show called Sunny Bunnies. I see this very embarrassing, because I was obsessed and it was very weird, I actually find it scary now. My feelings have probably changed because the show is very childish. Also, quite boring to me now.

you can replace whatever you find embarrassing with whatever you want, add, or take away words/sentences to it.
