Large astronomical bodies such as planets and stars are round as a result of their own gravity. Gravity pulls astronomical bodies mass inwards towards their core causing it to even out and form a sphere. Although not a perfect sphere, more astronomical bodies more or less resemble a sphere.

Gravity. A gravitational field creates a circle around the central point, in this case the core, typically a large amount of iron with other atoms following the gravitational waves. Here's an image that may help. If you don't understand then I will try my best to simplify.

Describe the pressures in the atria and ventricles that would cause the opening of the av valves.
Sphinxa [80]

A higher pressure in the atria than in the ventricles would cause the av valves to open (option C).

What is the normal pressure between the atria and the ventricles?

The normal pressure between the ventricles and the atria of the heart is higher pressure in the ventricles and lower pressure in the atria.

What would happen if the pressures were reversed?

When the pressure is higher in the atria, it causes the heart valves to open, having negative consequences on the functioning of the heart.

Note: This question is incomplete because the options are missing. Here are the options.

A) Pressures in the atria and ventricles would be equal.

B) Pressure in the ventricles would be greater than in the atria.

C) Pressure in the atria would be greater than the pressure in the ventricles.
