I believe that because there are 180 degrees in a triangle, and ACB is a triangle, you can add up two of the angles and subtract that from 180. So
30+50=80 and 180-80=100, that mean the angle above angle 1 is 100. And since angle one and that angle 100 are vertical angles, angle 1 = 100

A triangle has three sides and one side equals 60.

So 60+60+60 is 180
50+30= 80
180-80= 100

If you want to check your answer and see if you are right, then do this:

100+80+ 180

So the answer is: 100

Hope that helped and I hope that didn't confuse you...

Have a wonderful day!!!

Find the area!! 20 POINTS
sattari [20]
Step One
Begin by drawing a line parallel to the x axis. Create it so it goes through (0,1)
This line you have drawn should hit points on the figure at (-5,1) (-2,1) and (3,1)
You now have a figure on the bottom that is a trapezoid. It has 2 small triangles on top of it. We'll talk about them later.

Step Two
Find the area of the trapezoid.
Formula
Area = (b1 + b2)*h/2
h = 1 - - 3 = 4
b1 = 3 - - 8 = 11
b2 = 3 - - 5 = 8

Area = (11 + 8)*4 / 2
Area = (19 ) * 2
Area = 38

Step Three
Find the area of the small triangle on the left.
The base goes from -5 to - 2 which is 3 units.
The height goes from 1 to 3 (using the y axis as a reference) which is 2
Area = 1/2 * b * h
Area = 1/2 *3 * 2
Area = 3

Step Four
Find the area of the small triangle on the right.
The base is 5 (see if you can get 5 as an answer)
The height is 1.

Area = 1/2 b * h
Area = 1/2 5 * 1
Area = 2.5

Step Five
Total Area is found by adding the three areas together.
Total Area = trapezoid + small triangle on the left + small triangle on the right
Total Area = 38 + 3 + 2.5 = 43.5

Isaac buys 17 anti-pollution masks for £5.25 each.
mojhsa [17]

Answer:

A) Isaac should get £ 10.75 in change.

B) The price of the e-scooter in the sale is £ 366.3.

Step-by-step explanation:

A) Given that Isaac buys 17 anti-pollution masks for £ 5.25 each, and he pays with five £ 20 notes, to determine how much change Isaac should get, the following calculation must be performed:

(20 x 5) - (17 x 5.25) = X

100 - 89.25 = X

10.75 = X

So Isaac should get £ 10.75 in change.

B) Given that the normal price of an e-scooter is £ 370 and, in a sale, there is 1 off the normal price of the e-scooter, to determine the price of the e-scooter in the sale the following calculation must be performed:

370 - (370 x 0.01) = X

370 - 3.7 = X

366.3 = X

Thus, the price of the e-scooter in the sale is £ 366.3.
