Select all that apply. How would you describe Madame Loisel at the beginning of the "The Necklace"? proud and overly-imaginative
____ [38]

The answers are: proud and overly-imaginative, and unable to accept reality.

In the short story "The Necklace," Madame Loisel dislikes her middle class life and spends hours fantasizing about being wealthy, which she considers she should be. Even though she is pretty and does not live in poverty, she feels dissatisfied with life and dreams with a more extravagant existance. Actually, she does not often visit her rich friend Madame Forestier because she is jealous of her, and cries when her husband receives an invitation to a formal party since she has nothing to wear.

Read the cartoon strip above. Think about yourself and the role(s) you play in life. Write approximately 75-100 words describing
Anastaziya [24]

The assignment wants to know something personal about how you see how you have lived. As I don't have access to this I can't write the essay, but I'll show you how to write it.

Steps to writing an essay

 • Introduction: Present how you see your life and the way you have positioned yourself in it. Be objective and write a short paragraph, with a maximum of 4 lines.

 • Body: Write two paragraphs. They will be larger as you will have to explain the elements of your life. In the first, show how you have positioned yourself correctly and sought to establish a fair and positive standard of living. In the second paragraph, show how even trying to position yourself correctly, you have been making mistakes and reinforce how these mistakes are important, although difficult to deal with.

 • Conclusion: Show what position as a baseball player you would occupy, taking into account everything you exposed about your life in the essay.

An example of how you might write your essay introduction can be seen below.

After reflecting a lot on my existence, I realized that my life is full of ups and downs. This lack of stability may not have a big impact on the physical world, since I don't make much difference in the world, but it has a great emotional impact that has made me reflect on myself and the decisions I've made.
