The type digital broadcast in which the audio signal is transmitted over large areas with more consistency and clarity than the conventional radio is called Satellite radio. It works on the signals that are transmitted from a station based on ground to the satellites orbiting the Earth. It is commercial free and only available by subscription, subscribers also get stations than conventional radio.
