TRUE

Meter is a unit of rhythm in poetry. It refers to the organization of stressed and unstressed syllables in a verse, or within the lines of a poem.

There are different types of meter. The most common is the Iambic metter, in which an unstressed syllable is followed by a stressed syllable. The Trochee meter is the exact opposit: a stressed syllable followed by an unstressed sylable.

Other examples are the Dactyl Meter, which has one stressed syllable followed by two unstressed ones; and the Anapest Meter, which has two unaccented syllables followed by an accented one.

This is true. Meter is the basic pattern which occurs in a poem and deals with the number of feet in a verse and their stress patterns.

What do i check in a book to make sure it is a valuable source?
AveGali [126]
Usually if information is used from other sources, it cited in the back of the book. They would cite what info was taken and used. You could always check there to see if it's accurate. Usually it's labeled as "Works Cited".

Hoped this helps!!

"The argument that the other man uses to convince the narrator is persuasive argument. What he learns depends on the outcome of the situation. If it's bad, then he'd learn to know both sides of the story before picking sides."
