Answer:

How many hours you need to spend on studying for AP tests every week is going to depend a lot on how much material you need to review and how comfortable you are with the format of the exam questions. In general, though, you should expect to study for several hours a week split over two to three sessions.

The clock face on London’s Big Ben measures 23 feet across. How far does the tip of the minute hand travel between 6:50 and 7:30
kifflom [539]

Answer:

The distance traveled is: 96.29ft

Explanation:

Given

r = 23ft --- The minute hand represents the radius

Required

Distance traveled between 6:50 and 7:30

First, calculate the circumference (C) of the clock

C = 2\pi r

C = 2*3.14*23

C = 144.44ft

Calculate the time difference between 6:50 and 7:30

t = 7:30 - 6:50

t = 40\ minutes

Next, calculate the rate per 60 minutes:

Rate = \frac{C}{60\ minutes}

So, the distance traveled is:

d = Rate * t

d = \frac{C}{60\ minutes} * t

d = \frac{144.44ft}{60\ minutes} * 40\ minutes

d = \frac{144.44* 40ft}{60}

d = \frac{5777.6ft}{60}

d = 96.29ft
