The two reasons why the us was largely uninvolved in foreign events during much of its history is that for much of its history the U.S practiced isolationism, Whereby it was reluctance to become involved in European alliances & wars. <span>One of the primary reasons for American indifference and inactivism was the preoccupation of Americans with domestic crises</span>

3. Different animals 
4. Different languages 
5. and religion
I would say the new diseases that the white men brought over with them affected and changed the Native populations the most because many people died from these diseases because the Natives did not know how to prevent them or what to treat them with.

I would say that religion was the least change because even though some accepted the other religions, it really didn't affected the population.
