Answer:

"double burden" or "second shift"

Explanation:

"Double burden" is also known as<em> second shift, double duty or double day.</em> This is a type of workload in which a person tries to work hard in order to earn money and in addition to this, he also does domestic chores which are unpaid.

Maggie is experiencing such situation above. Since she is a slave <em>(African American slave),</em> she needed to work hard inside her home and outside of it. She also acted as a "Mammy," a black woman who takes care of a white family's children. This was very prominent during the <em>"Reconstruction Era</em>." As a Mammy, she is unpaid for her labor. Such situation used to be accepted in the society when discrimination was not yet banned.

Thus, this explains the answer.

Leno4ka [110]

Answer:

pretty sure it was large, whether or not it was ill prepared to fight is up for debate. It's been a few years since I revised this, but I'm pretty sure that during the Schleiffen plan the German army relied on the Russians being too slow to defend themselves, however they were quicker than expected? due to this and the sheer size of the army itself I would say d, large and well prepared to fight. They were large enough that even if they were awful in combat they would still be a force to be reckoned with, as they could afford to supply men after men without running out, unlike the German army.

How did the Gutenberg press directly influence the reformation?
Alex777 [14]
It allowed books (ideas) to be printed en masse. Reformation vouchers were able to spread their ideals to many readers, causing many to be won over by their words. In essence, they outpaced their competitors.
