North America by the mid-1700’s consisted of <u>three major regions</u>: <u>New England </u>(five colonies), <u>Middle Region</u> (four colonies) and <u>Chesapeake or Southern Region</u> (four colonies). <em>Similarities between them</em>: 1. They all were getting away from the British monarchy. 2. All the colonies were founded by European settlers, but at the end, all colonies were ruled by British monarchy and British Law. 3. Their ports and trade prospered from the Atlantic trade network. 4. Better health and standard of living that their European counterparts.
When writing these entries describing the Japanese advance across Asia and the Pacific <span>during 1941 and 1942 make sure to mention the brutality the came as a result of this movement. </span>
Reconstruction succeeded in its goals of restoring the Union and helping to "<span>d. repair the war-torn South" although many would agree that Reconstruction failed because discrimination still existed. </span>
