Answer;

-Sea-floor spreading

Sea floor spreading is process that takes place at mid-ocean ridges, evidence is found in magnetic minerals on the ocean floor.

Explanation;

-Seafloor spreading is a geologic process in which tectonic plates; large slabs of Earth's lithosphere; split apart from each other.

-Seafloor spreading and other tectonic activity processes are the result of mantle convection. Mantle convection is the slow, churning motion of Earth’s mantle. Seafloor spreading occurs at divergent plate boundaries. As tectonic plates slowly move away from each other, heat from the mantle’s convection currents makes the crust more plastic and less dense.

An operon is controlled by a repressor. When the repressor binds to a small molecule, it binds to DNA near the operon. The opero
larisa [96]

Answer:

Negatively repressible.

Explanation:

A control which occurs through repressor is known as negative control which may be inducible or repressible.

When a small molecule named as allolactose binds this repressor it leads to allosteric repulsion which removes repressor from the operator as a result of which RNA polymerase can start transcription. Allolactose is therefore known as inducer because it induces lac operon expression.

But here, the operator is active (induced) already so there is no need to induce the operon which means that it can only be repressed so that transcription could stop. So the answer is negatively repressible operon.

The molecules will move closer to each other. They will contract.

Explanation:

When there is energy in the particles, they will move move apart from each other. The will be far apart from each other and mostly the state of the matter will expand. It will be from solid to liquid to gas.

But when the energy is removed from the substance, the particles will move closer to each other. They will contract. The state of matter will contract from gas to liquid to gas.

the theory that says that living things change over time in response to changes in their environment.
lord [1]

Answer:

Evolution explains how living things are changing today and how modern living things have descended from ancient life forms that no longer exist on Earth. As living things evolve, they generally become better suited for their environment. This is because they evolve adaptations.Feb 23, 2012Explanation:

IrinaK [193]

The endosymbiotic hypothesis explains that how eukaryotic cells might have evolved chloroplasts and mitochondria within their cells.

The endosymbiotic hypothesis states that the eukaryotes have developed via a procedure whereby distinct kinds of free-living prokaryotes became assimilated within the bigger prokaryotic cells and ultimately evolved into chloroplasts, mitochondria, and various other organelles.
