How had democracies fallen short of people expectation explain
bazaltina [42]

There are times when democracy does not meet the expectations of the people.  Sadly there are times when it fails the people who believe in it.  This is when corrupt officials abuse their position in government and implement policies that limit democracy and the rights of the people. When services intended for the people are not available that is another example.  The worst instance is when there is no justice in the system as the guilty goes free and the innocent gets blamed.
