How does anatomy provide evidence for evolution?
Alenkinab [10]
The study of comparative anatomy predates the modern study of evolution. Early evolutionary scientists like Buffon and Lamarck used comparative anatomy to determine relationships between species. Organisms with similar structures, they argued, must have acquired these traits from a common ancestor. Today, comparative anatomy can serve as the first line of reasoning in determining the relatedness of species. However, there are many hidden dangers that make it necessary to support evidence from comparative anatomy with evidence from other fields of study.

HURRYY!!

Why have American's portion sizes become larger in the last decade?
Viefleur [7K]

Answer:

American's portion sizes have become larger in the last decade due to the expanding of food industries and marketing campaigns that tell us to eat more.

Explanation:

The growth of food industries in the last decades to obtain more money in combination with the media influence has led us to eat more, thus why the size of our portions has increased their size.

Another theory states that people always want to eat more, and the industry has only fulfilled this demand, but it is not clear why, in the past, this did not happen.

Gary is a police officer who is also a forensic scientist. Currently, his job is in the crime lab and includes processing finger
antiseptic1488 [7]

Gary would perform the duty of handwriting analysis in civil justice more often than what he does as a criminal forensic scientist.

Gary is a police officer who is also a forensic scientist, working in the criminal justice system. This means he collects, analyzes fingerprints, examining blood spatter all to have evidence against a criminal. Know, he works in the criminal justice system meaning the government, which could be government law enforcers would need those evidence against an accused individual at a federal or state criminal court. On the other hand, in a civil justice system, citizens can bring lawsuits against one another.

Now he would like to work for the civil justice system, and for his experience as a criminal forensic scientist, he would fit handwriting analysis since handwriting analysis is also a forensic practice done for the purpose of providing evidence in court. But this time he would be assessing the identity of a person from their written documents where there are differences between writing samples instead of processing fingerprints.

In summary, Gary would perform the duty of handwriting analysis in civil justice systems assessing the identity of a person from their written documents.
