The rate of photosynthesis varies with several factors, including the intensity of sunlight and the temperature of the plant. (Other factors include the amount of water and the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the air.)

Answers:

The ways to speed up photosynthesis is to increase the amount of light because with minimal light it slows photosynthesis down. Photosynthesis is also dependent on temperature and when the enzymes reach the perfect temperature which is around 50-68 degrees fahrenheit. An increase in carbon dioxide will also speed up photosynthesis (this is more possible in a greenhouse). Carbon dioxide is used to make the sugar in order to create the reaction for photosynthesis to happen.
