Answer:

Explanation:

Ribosome works with ribonucleic acid to produce a functional protein. Translation takes place at the ribosome.

The endoplasmic reticulum helps in transport of proteins that are made by the ribosomes and folds them into sacs that are called cisternae from where it is moved to the Golgi apparatus.

Golgi apparatus served as store house for molecules that moved from endoplasmic reticulum. They are then released from the Golgi apparatus in what are called secretory vesicles into the cytoplasm.

Answer:

See the answer below

Explanation:

The nucleus is a double membrane organelle that is responsible for controlling the activities of the cell. It contains the DNA which carries the gene and the hereditary information of the cell.

The nucleoli are small spherical structures that are located within the nucleus which function in the formation of the ribosome and hence, important for protein synthesis in the eukaryotic organisms.

The ribosomes are structures within the cell which represent the site of protein synthesis. During protein synthesis, the mRNA and the tRNA attach themselves to the ribosome to form the translation complex for the initiation of protein synthesis.

The Golgi apparatus is a system of membrane responsible for the packaging and secretion of proteins and lipids within the cell.

Explanation:

birds= hollow bone structure 4 flight. scales on (feet), defined as "raptors" flight feathers, thicker core for uplift, shape of beak 4 food it eats.

fish= natural "slime coat" to protect scales from water or pollution damage, have gills 2 absorb o2 from h2o, streamlined 2 swim in h2o, find to turn, dart, escape predators.

reptiles= cold- blooded, have 2 bask in sun so it can stay warm at night, eats bugs, other reptiles 4 nourishment, can sometimes change color 2 match its surroundings, or has color of surroundings.

amphibians = aquatic usually, needs moisture, goes thru metamorphosis, egg, tadpole, frog (both land & h2o bearing.

insects= eat other insects or foliage, lay eggs on leaves, hibernate or die in cold weather, butterflies make cocoons 4 next generation.

mammals= warm blooded, have sex with 1 mate or many, gives birth, usually are preyed upon by predators ( lion, tiger, etc...) hope this helps, good luck!

Why is it important to understand levels of organization in living systems in terms of both structure and function of each level
vampirchik [111]

Answer:

The living world can be organized into different levels.

Levels of organization are structures in nature, usually defined by part-whole relationships, with things at higher levels being composed of things at the next lower level. Typical levels of organization that one finds in the literature include the atomic, molecular, cellular, tissue, organ, organismal, group, population, community, ecosystem, landscape, and biosphere levels.

Explanation:

Yet, in spite of the ubiquity of the notion, levels of organization have received little explicit attention in biology or its philosophy. Usually they appear in the background as an implicit conceptual framework that is associated with vague intuitions. Attempts at providing general and broadly applicable definitions of levels of organization have not met wide acceptance. In recent years, several authors have put forward localized and minimalistic accounts of levels, and others have raised doubts about the usefulness of the notion as a whole.

Just helps a lot overall, especially if you are planning to go into a field related to biology.  Hope this helps! :)
