Operant conditioning was coined by behavior psychologist B. F. Skinner.

Operant Conditioning is a system of three types of responses [punishment], [neutral operants], and [reinforcers] as a response to behaviors. Skinner found [neutral operant] responses from the environment neither increase nor decrease the probability of a behavior being repeated, [reinforcing] a behavior encourages its continuance, and [punishment] for a behavior encourages the end of the behavior.

Answer:

Operant conditioning was coined by behavior psychologist B. F. Skinner.

Operant Conditioning is a system of three types of responses [punishment], [neutral operants], and [reinforcers] as a response to behaviors. Skinner found [neutral operant] responses from the environment neither increase nor decrease the probability of a behavior being repeated, [reinforcing] a behavior encourages its continuance, and [punishment] for a behavior encourages the end of the behavior.

Skinner is regarding as the father of Operant Conditioning, but his work was based on Thorndike's law of effect. According to this principal, consequence is likely to be repeated, and behavior followed by unpleasant consequences is less likely to be repeated.

Skinner introduced a new term into the Law of Effect - Reinforcement. Behavior which is reinforced tends to be repeated; behavior which is not reinforced tends to die out-or be extinguished.

Skinner studied Operant Conditioning by conducting experiments using animals which he placed in a 'Skinner Box' which was similar to Thorndike's puzzle box.

Evaluate the role of call parties in today's national scene. We're Washington's concerns valid for the future of the nation
lina2011 [118]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

The role of political parties in today's national scene has raised many concerns. As we have witnessed in recent years and even months, political parties had lost their course. Personal agendas, political interests, individual interests, resentments, and even vengeance, are part of US politics right now.

That is exactly why former US President George Washington was concerned and never supported the idea of political parties because they could create so much conflict and divide the nation. And so it was.

Instead of being political groups aimed to serve the interests of teh citizens, today political parties have too many interests at hand, few of them, really to help and serve the American people.
