Industrial Revolution was the transition towards new manufacturing processes in Europe and the U.S., this is, a time when the manufacturing process moved from small shops to large factories.

It began in 1760, when agricultural societies became more industrialized, thanks to new inventions, like the railroad, electricity, cotton gin, etc. he Industrial Revolution began in Britain and then spread to Western Europe and North America for several decades.

In the second half of the 18th century, manual production was replaced by steam engines, which fundamentally altered earlier political, economic and social systems of the world.

The Revolution was important because of some important social changes, as urbanization and an increase in employment, earnings, and quality of life.
