What provision of the Sugar Act did colonists view as a violation of their rights as Englishmen?

The violation of their constitutional rights as Englishmen was that they were being taxed for the sole purpose of raising money for the Crown, without having any say in the decision-making process.

The 1764 Sugar Act created new taxes on goods like sugar, coffee, and cloth brought into the colonies.

The English colonists in America viewed the Sugar Act as a tax which Parliament had no right to impose onto them, because they didn't have any representatives in Parliament and they were supposed to be represented and governed by colonial assemblies.

William julius wilson believes the cause of the emergence of an urban underclass is
Ugo [173]
William Julius Wilson believes that the cause of the emergence of an urban underclass is economic and social structural deficits in society. This is true because prior to the Civil War, people believed their business on poverty was private and worked to solve their own issues. When people moved as part of industrialization in search of jobs or out west in hopes of a better life, things got worse, especially when social reforms were enacted. These reforms gave people the belief that they could rely on society to help them out of their poverty.

Can you get me fun facts about tokyos plate boundaries?
mihalych1998 [28]

Tokyo is located near the plate boundaries between the Eurasian, Philippine, and Pacific plates.

Explanation:

Tokyo, the capital of Japan, and biggest city in the world, is located in a highly geologically active area, which is not good by any means, as large scale disaster can struck at any moment. The reason as to why this is such a risky area is that three plates have boundaries and interact between each other, causing all sorts of geological activity.

 • The plates that have boundaries here are the Eurasian, Philippine, and Pacific plates.
 • The Eurasian plate is continental, while the Philippine and Pacific are oceanic plates.
 • Both the Pacific and Philippine plates are subducting below the Eurasian plate, and the Pacific is also subducting below the Philippine plate as well.
 • The subduction zones cause intense volcanic activity, emergence of new volcanic islands, oceanic trenches, and multiple earthquakes every day.

mamaluj [8]

Reifman (1991) found that as temperatures rise to the hot range, major league baseball pitchers are more likely to hit batters with a pitch. This finding is consistent with ‘The Heat-Aggression Relationship.’

Explanation:

During the major baseball league games, a data was conducted by Reifman (1991) to find out the Heat Aggression Relationship. In this study Reifman wanted to know that when the temperature increases, do pitchers develop aggression or not? And the study showed that as the heat increases, so does the aggressiveness of the pitchers.

They throw balls with such belligerence that they distinctly hit the batters. This shows how temper and temperature are linked and higher the temperature, higher is the likelihood of an increase in temperament.
